The charm of watercolour truely lies in the transparency and the flow of colour. The bold wash creates a rythm supporting to which the bold strokes give a defination to the painting. .

I have learnt a lot studying the great masters from the past ” J M W Turner” and ”John Singer Sargent” to name a few, and present watercolour artists work that mesmerises me are of the “Joseph Zbukvic” “Alvaro Castagnet” and “Guan Weixing”.
The paintings by impressionist (the painters of light) has always inspired me Masters like “Claude Monet” and “Van Gogh” their paintings depict; light as the main source of inspiration.
Watercolours has always fascinates me. The effect achieved with each stroke is a magical experience; I constantly study to create the mood and the atmosphere in each of my work.
When the water dries it leaves its trace of pigment that is fixed on the paper surface which gives absolutely unique results: the charm of the watercolour lies in its elusiveness, each work is a work in itself, unique, made of discoveries, mistakes, tricks and wonders. I try to produce reminiscent works of moods and sensations, where light and color play an important role apart from the subject I choose.
